Oompa Loompas (Homo oompaloompus) are a sapient hominid species from 1964 children's novel written by Roald Dahl; Charlie and the chocolate factory and appeared in three separate films right after.

Appearance[]

Their appearance is varied in each version. In 1964 book, they look like blond and Caucasian children. In 1971 film, they are orange-skinned dwarves with green hair in white overalls and brown long sleeve t-shirt, this is the most iconic version. In 2005 film, they are brown-skinned pygmies with black drop-shaped hair in a red uniform, in this version is revealed that female Oompa Loompas exist, they look the same (even with masculine appearance). In 2023 film, They look similar to 1971 but they were portrayed by Hugh Grant

Origin[]

The Oompa Loompas would end up being preyed upon or attacked by the various predators that also reside in Loompaland, such as snozzwangers and whangdoodles, before Willy Wonka invited them to work at his factory and are paid in their favorite food (cocoa beans) which were extremely rare on their country.

Behavior[]

Just like smurfs and minions, they work in cooperative groups and love singing and making jokes in a given situation.
